Description
A mid-to-late 20th-century dressing table featuring a structural frame of bent bamboo poles with decorative scrollwork. The piece is fitted with an oval, pivoting mirror held within a bamboo frame. The rectangular top surface is inset with a woven cane panel. Below the top, the table contains four drawers arranged in two pedestals with two drawers on each side. Each drawer front is decorated with an inset woven cane panel and fitted with a vertical bamboo bar handle. The unit is supported by curved bamboo legs reinforced with matching arched stretchers. The drawers are constructed from secondary timber or composite materials
