Description
A mid-century modern low display cabinet or bookcase of teak veneer construction. The unit is designed in two sections, featuring a glazed display area to the left and a solid storage compartment to the right. The display section is fitted with tracks for sliding glass doors and contains two internal shelves creating three tiers of storage. The right-hand section consists of a single hinged solid door. The cabinet is raised on four short, square-tapered solid wood legs and is finished with a small circular silver-toned metal pull knob to the hinged door. This is a single-piece unit characteristic of British furniture design from the 1960s or 1970s.
