A salt-glazed stoneware ring jug in the style of 19th-century German Westerwald ceramics. The vessel features a circular, hollow annular body with a central void, supported by a stepped, flared pedestal foot. The top section consists of a flaring spout decorated with relief-moulded floral designs and a scrolled handle joining the neck to the upper ring. A small, free-hanging ceramic ring is suspended from a loop beneath the spout. The sides of the ring body are ornamented with relief-moulded rosettes, diaper lattice patterns, and foliate borders, all highlighted in cobalt blue glaze against a light grey stoneware ground. The piece exhibits traditional Rhenish historicist styling typical of the late 19th century. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
