A mid-century modern British teak sideboard, in the style of manufacturers such as William Lawrence of Nottingham or Bath Cabinet Makers. The unit is constructed from teak and teak veneers, featuring a central bank of three drawers flanked by two cupboards of asymmetrical widths, with the left cupboard being narrower than the right. The cupboards and drawers are fitted with recessed rectangular pulls characteristic of 1960s furniture design. The piece is supported on a separate stretcher base with four tapered legs. The rectangular top surface has a subtle raised edge at either end. No maker labels or marks are visible.
