A mid-century modern two-tier side or occasional table dating from the 1950s or 1960s. The rectangular top tier is designed in a tray-like form with upturned, curved edges. It features a decorative laminate surface, possibly Formica, with a repeated geometric pattern of blue and gilt-toned concentric circles set against a dark grey-green textured background. The lower tier consists of a rectangular wooden shelf with a dark stained finish. The structure is supported by four slender black-painted metal rod legs that pass through the lower shelf and terminate in spherical ball feet, characteristic of the Atomic age style. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the piece.
Dimensions: 46cm x 60cm x 36cm.
