This static display model is from the Great British Locomotives partwork collection and represents the 1886 Caledonian Railway 4-2-2 Single No. 123 locomotive and tender. The model is constructed from a combination of die-cast metal and plastic components. It is finished in the signature Caledonian Railway blue livery with white and black lining. The locomotive features a large single driving wheel with the railway crest applied to the wheel splasher and a yellow oval number plate on the cab side bearing the number 123. The tender is decorated with the letters C and R in gold with red shadowing, flanking a central crest. The model is mounted on a black plastic display plinth that includes a section of moulded track and a label reading 1886: Caledonian Single 4-2-2 No. 123. This is a non-motorised model intended for static display.
