A mid-century modern drop-leaf dining table, characteristic of British furniture manufacture from the 1960s or 1970s. The table is constructed with a rectangular central section and two rectangular drop-leaves, all finished in teak veneer. The base consists of a solid timber frame with four tapered square-section legs, including two gate-leg supports that swing out to provide stability when the leaves are extended. The design is similar to models produced by manufacturers such as G-Plan, McIntosh, and Nathan. No maker’s marks are visible.
