Lot 34 A Collection of Amber Coloured Pressed Glassware

An assortment of amber coloured pressed glassware comprising several pieces of varying forms and patterns, likely dating from the mid-20th century. The collection features a large pitcher or jug with horizontal concentric ribbing, a shaped handle, and a circular footed base. Also included is a flared vase with vertical ribbing terminating in a stepped octagonal base, and a square serving dish with a crimped rim and ribbed exterior walls. The group further contains a matching pair of glass cruets with integral pouring spouts and original pointed stoppers, a small tumbler with a moulded diamond-point pattern to the lower section, and a small vessel with horizontal ribbing. These items are characteristic of the pressed glass manufacturing techniques of the Depression era. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on the pieces.

Pitcher height: approximately 18–22 cm.
