A vintage French pressurized horticultural or industrial sprayer manufactured by Muratori. The item features a cylindrical body constructed from copper sheet with a rolled and riveted horizontal seam and a rounded, riveted top dome. Mounted to the side is a brass pump assembly with a turned wooden T-handle. The top of the cylinder is fitted with a brass nozzle and valve mechanism. The body retains its original black and white printed label which identifies the object as a Pulverisateur Muratori and includes the French patent mark Breveté S.G.D.G. The label provides a Mode d’Emploi (instructions for use) in several numbered steps detailing the pressurisation process. The brass components appear to be a combination of cast and turned parts.
