A group of four static display model locomotives, produced as part of a magazine partwork collection, such as the Great British Locomotives series. The models are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic details and are presented as static display pieces mounted on sections of plastic track.
The collection includes:
An LMS Fowler 3F Jinty 0-6-0T tank engine, finished in black with yellow LMS lettering and numbered 7279.
An LSWR T9 4-4-0 locomotive and tender, finished in light green livery with white lining, numbered 117 to the cab side.
A GCR Director class 4-4-0 locomotive Butler Henderson and tender, finished in Great Central Railway green and brown livery, numbered 506.
A GWR 5700 class 0-6-0 pannier tank engine, finished in GWR green with roundel insignia. Note that the locomotive cab side is marked 6717, while the display label identifies it as number 6719.
These models are non-motorised and are intended for display purposes only. Each is housed within its original clear plastic blister packaging with an illustrated backing card.
