This silver plated tea service is designed in the Victorian Revival style and consists of a teapot, a lidded sugar bowl, and a cream jug, all displayed on a matching circular tray. The teapot is of lobed baluster form and features a swan-neck spout with foliate-cast decoration. The C-scroll handle includes two dark heat-insulating rings and a decorative thumb-rest. The hinged lid is topped with a cast foliate finial, and the body sits on four cast floral-motif feet. The twin-handled sugar bowl and cream jug match the teapot design, each supported by four cast foliate feet. The circular tray has a heavily gadrooned rim and an engraved foliate and scrollwork medallion to the centre. Markings are present on the base of the items and the centre of the tray, though they are not clearly legible.
