This monochrome print, titled Galloping out, is a reproduction of an original drawing by the British military and equestrian artist Joan Wanklyn (1924–1999). The artwork depicts a Royal Horse Artillery team of six horses at a full gallop, pulling a field gun and limber. The composition includes three riders on the near-side horses and several mounted soldiers in the background. The piece is signed in the plate J. Wanklyn and dated 1976 in the lower left. The title Galloping out is printed in the centre of the lower margin, with the copyright notice © Joan Wanklyn in the lower right. The absence of plate marks indicates this is a commercial reproduction, likely an offset lithograph. The print is housed behind glass in an olive green mount and a dark wood frame with a gilt inner slip.
