The document, numbered A28973, formally appoints John Bootes of 93 Victoria Road, Margate, to the position of Assistant Cubmaster for the 3rd Margate (Holy Trinity) Group, registered number 4082, within the Margate Local Association and the County of Kent. The printed warrant features a decorative rope border with various knot details, the scout fleur-de-lis emblem, and a large illustration on the left depicting a Boy Scout in full uniform holding a troop flag. The document bears the printed facsimile signature of Robert Baden-Powell above his title of Chief Scout. The manuscript sections are completed in black ink.
