A mid-twentieth century teak sideboard of British manufacture, designed in the Scandinavian modern style typical of the 1960s. The unit features a rectangular carcass with two sliding cupboard doors and a central bank of three drawers. The sliding doors are equipped with recessed circular wooden pulls. The drawers are a prominent design feature, each fitted with two large, organic, and sculptural projecting wooden handles. The sideboard is supported by four tapered wooden legs. The piece is constructed from teak and teak veneers with a warm, honey-toned finish. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the exterior of the unit.
