This mid-20th-century Art Deco style cocktail cabinet is a single-piece unit manufactured by the British firm Nathan Furniture. The exterior is finished in walnut veneers, notable for its prominent grain patterns and a characteristic rounded waterfall edge on the left-hand side. The cabinet features a dual-door front; the right-hand door is fitted with a central lock. The doors are embellished with circular decorative metal pulls featuring a floral rosette motif. The interior is fully fitted for bar use, with the reverse of the left door housing a mounted metal citrus juicer and two sets of cocktail sticks with multicoloured ball heads. The main interior compartment and the interior of the right door are lined with mirrored glass panels. The interior features tiered shelving with metal retaining rods to secure bottles and glassware. The cabinet bears a metal manufacturer’s plaque depicting a winged figure and the text A ‘NATHAN’ PRODUCT alongside a stylised N and REGD TRADE MARK. The unit is set on a matching plinth base.
