A Stag Minstrel mahogany-stained tall chest of drawers, British, late 20th century. Designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag Furniture, this piece features a rectangular form with a single column of six drawers of varying depths. The chest is constructed with African cherry (Makore) veneers over a solid and composite wood frame, finished in the manufacturer’s signature dark mahogany stain typical of the Minstrel range. It retains its original brass-toned circular ring-pull handles and is supported by four bracket feet. As seen in the images, the item bears the manufacturer’s blue and white adhesive label.
