A mid-century modern six-drawer low sideboard or chest of drawers, likely of British manufacture, circa 1950s. The piece is finished in a high-gloss laminate featuring a birds-eye maple effect grain pattern. The carcase is configured with six drawers arranged in a two-tier, three-column layout, each fitted with a single circular brass-toned metal ring pull handle. The top surface is fitted with a low, integral gallery rail at the rear. The unit is set upon a contrasting light wood underframe with angular, tapered out-swept legs. A white paper label bearing the handwritten number 60 is adhered to the top right corner.
