A mid-century modern display cabinet, dating from the mid-20th century. The unit is constructed with a mid-toned hardwood veneer over a composite core, featuring a prominent straight grain on the top surface. The design includes characteristic curved wooden side panels and is raised on four splayed, tapered legs with adjustable metal glides. The cabinet features two sliding glass front doors, each decorated with an etched and gilded geometric and semi-circular border. Circular recessed finger pulls are present on the glass doors. The sides of the cabinet are fitted with clear glass panels. The interior contains a mirrored back panel and two adjustable glass shelves. A decorative gold-toned metal banding is fixed along the top front edge. This is a single-piece construction. No maker marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces.
