An Art Deco period stained oak hall stand featuring a tall backboard with a curved top rail and a centrally mounted oval mirror. The backboard is fitted with four dark metal double coat hooks. The base section incorporates an integrated side cabinet featuring an open top compartment above two drawers, each fitted with vertical oak bar handles. The piece is of solid and veneered oak construction. The reverse of the unit bears a partial paper label for the retailer A.G. Whitehead and Sons Ltd, 195-203 High St., Chatham, described as Complete House Furnishers.
