This lot comprises a varied collection of English decorative and functional ceramics, featuring pieces from Wade and Poole Pottery. Included is a Wade character cookie jar, which has a deep blue glazed base with white slip lettering reading Cookies. The lid is modelled as a male character wearing a brown flat cap and spectacles, reminiscent of the Homepride Fred mascot, and remains in its original protective cardboard packaging. A white heart-shaped trinket box by Wade is also present, featuring a double heart design decorated with pink roses and gilt rims, accompanied by an original Wade presentation box.
