This collection of traditional woodworking hand tools comprises several wooden moulding planes and mallets. The planes are primarily constructed from beech wood with steel irons and wooden wedges. The lot includes a variety of moulding profiles such as beads and ovolos. There are two wooden mallets, one with a large rectangular head and another with a smaller, stepped circular head. A red plastic container houses a variety of loose components, including heavily oxidised plane irons, a wooden marking gauge, a wooden plane knob, two brass-toned keys, and a set of clear, amber-toned celluloid French curve drafting templates. One mallet head features a stamped maker mark for T. BAYARD. Other items may bear markings that are currently obscured by surface wear and rust.
