This lot comprises a framed colour reproduction print based on the 1872 oil painting by Edgar Degas, titled Le Foyer de la Danse à l’Opéra de la rue Le Peletier. The scene portrays ballerinas in a rehearsal room with the ballet master, Jules Perrot, positioned in the centre leaning on a cane. The print is housed within a modern, deep white-painted wooden box frame. No signatures or inscriptions are visible on the front of the work. A lot sticker numbered 0044 is attached to the bottom left corner of the frame.
