A mid-to-early 20th-century oak gate-leg drop-leaf table, designed in the 17th-century Jacobean style. The piece features a solid oak top comprising a narrow rectangular central section and two semi-elliptical drop-leaves. The table is supported on six turned baluster legs, with two legs hinged to swing out as gate-legs to support the leaves when extended. The legs are joined by a low-set rectangular stretcher base. The oak is finished with a dark stain.
