A mid-century modern display cabinet or bookcase, dating from circa 1960. The piece is constructed with teak veneers and solid wood edges. It features two sliding clear glass doors, each with ground finger pulls, revealing an interior fitted with two fixed-height shelves that provide three tiers of storage or display space. The unit is of single-piece construction and is raised on four short, tapered, splayed legs. The design is indicative of mid-century British manufacture, resembling pieces by makers such as G-Plan, Nathan, or Jonell. The Philips hi-fi unit and other items shown on or around the cabinet are not included in this lot.
