A mid-century modern style low sideboard or credenza, likely dating to the 1960s. The unit features a rectangular body with a wood-veneered finish and a contrasting dark charcoal or black finished top surface. The front elevation is configured with four panels: the left side comprises a cupboard compartment with a single gilt-metal serpentine bail handle and an adjacent panel with two small circular gilt pulls; the right side contains two drawers, each fitted with a central gilt-metal serpentine bail handle. The piece is supported by four tapered, splayed wooden legs finished in matte black. No manufacturer’s marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the exterior of the piece.
