Description
This item is a contemporary decorative dagger incorporating motifs associated with German Third Reich political regalia. The hilt features a silver-tone cast metal pommel in the form of an eagle head. The grip is fitted with two black chequered composite scales secured by two rivets, with one side featuring an inset diamond-shaped enamel-style badge with a red border, white field, and black swastika. The crossguard consists of a simple, curved single quillon. The single-edged steel blade has a polished finish and a prominent longitudinal fuller extending most of its length. The scabbard is constructed of black painted metal and includes a black synthetic leather-look suspension frog with a retaining strap. A non-regulation decorative band featuring a central swastika motif is located near the scabbard tip. No manufacturer marks, RZM codes, or serial numbers are present on the hilt, blade, or scabbard. This item is a modern fantasy piece and does not correspond to any regulation pattern issued during the 1933-1945 period.
