Description
This lot comprises an assortment of photographic ephemera and albums dating from the late 19th to the mid-20th century. The collection includes a group of monochrome stereoview cards depicting New York City landmarks. Visible printed captions on these cards include Flat Iron Building and View of Fifth Ave, The World Building and City Hall, and East River Bridge. The cards are mounted on standard curved cardstock mounts typical of the early 20th century. The lot features three vintage photograph albums. The first is titled Our Wedding in gold-toned script on a marbled blue and tan cover, secured with a decorative cord binding and tassels. The second album possesses a grey-green textured patterned cover with an attached white fabric ribbon. The third is a larger, plain grey album. Also included is a large quantity of loose vintage photographs and postcards contained within a plastic bag, featuring a variety of monochrome and topographical subjects.
