Description
A maritime steering wheel constructed from dark-toned hardwood with brass components. The wheel features eight turned spokes that terminate in shaped handles. The outer rim is formed from joined wooden sections secured with metal pins. At the centre is a circular brass hub featuring a keyed bore designed for mounting onto a steering shaft. No maker marks, serial numbers, or inscriptions are present on the wooden or metal surfaces.
