Description
An industrial articulated drafting or workbench lamp of British manufacture, dating to the mid-20th century. The lamp is of metal construction, featuring grey-toned articulated arms and a silver-toned conical metal shade. The shade is designed with diagonal cooling vents to the upper section. The base cap is embossed with the maker mark ADMEL and BRITISH MADE, identifying the item as a product of Admel, a British manufacturer of drafting and drawing office equipment. The lamp has been previously rewired and is fitted with a modern white PVC power cable and a standard UK three-pin plug.
