Description
A multi-volume set of works by Charles Dickens. The collection comprises hardcover volumes bound in uniform publisher’s blue cloth. The spines feature blind-stamped decorative borders and scrolls, with the titles and author’s name stamped in gilt. The titles included in this set are Bleak House, David Copperfield, Martin Chuzzlewit, Nicholas Nickleby, and The Pickwick Papers, along with volumes containing dual works: Oliver Twist and Great Expectations, A Tale of Two Cities and A Christmas Carol, and The Old Curiosity Shop and A Child’s History of England. The volumes are octavo in format. Several volumes retain remnants of original semi-transparent glassine or paper protective wrappers. No internal markings, signatures, or plates are visible from the exterior view.
