Lot 307:
Description
Attributed to Murano, the first item in this lot is a mid-century style tricorne bowl or ashtray, executed in a deep ruby red glass. The form is characterised by a triangular profile with an undulating rim and a thick, weighted base, typical of Italian glass production from the mid-20th century. The second item is a small, pale amethyst glass vase featuring a bulbous body and a wide, flared rim with heavy crimping or ruffling, in a style resembling late Victorian cranberry glass. Both pieces are translucent and lack visible maker marks or signatures.
