A mid-century art glass bowl produced in the style of Murano, specifically associated with the sommerso (submerged) technique and the designs of Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d’Arte. The bowl features a shallow, elliptical form with a thick clear glass casing. This casing contains a layered core of vibrant emerald green and deep amethyst glass. The piece is hand-blown, demonstrating the characteristic heavy, multi-layered construction of mid-20th century Italian art glass.
