Description

A collection of three decorative items including two glass bowls in the Rosella pattern, attributed to Mikasa and manufactured by Walther Glass. The first bowl is clear frosted glass with a pink-tinted rim and satin finish, moulded in the form of a six-petalled flower. The interior base features selective pink-coloured highlights on a moulded rose and floral design. The second bowl is clear pressed glass featuring a scalloped rim and a decorative scheme of floral medallions and scrollwork with a central sunburst motif to the base, also in the Rosella pattern. The lot also includes a matte-glazed ceramic globular vase. The exterior is finished in a terracotta or peach colour with a pale cream glaze to the interior. It features relief-moulded and hand-painted decoration consisting of blue floral clusters and yellow lilies with green leaves. The vase has a squat, bulbous body and a wide mouth with a short, slightly inverted rim. No maker’s marks are visible on any of the items.
