Description

This collection comprises various pieces of amber-coloured decorative and functional glass, likely dating from the mid to late 20th century. The group includes a large pressed glass pedestal pitcher featuring a textured feathered or overlapping scalloped pattern and a starburst-patterned footed base. Also included is a square-form shallow bowl with crimped scalloped edges and a prominent multi-point sunburst design to the interior base. A flared vase is present, featuring vertical panels and a hexagonal pedestal base. The collection further contains a pair of bulbous glass cruets with integrated loop handles and matching pointed glass stoppers. A decorative apothecary-style lidded jar is included, featuring a clear glass stem with an internal twisted texture resting on an amber circular foot. Completing the group is a single drinking tumbler with a pressed diamond quilted pattern to the exterior and a small, illegible white label near the rim. While the styles are consistent with manufacturers such as Tiara Glass or mid-century British firms like Davidson and Sowerby, no maker’s marks are visible.
