Description
This collection comprises several assorted 20th-century art glass bud vases in the mid-century modern style. The group includes a tall swung vase featuring a white opaque interior cased in clear glass, with a flared undulating rim and a four-pointed base. Also included is a cobalt blue swung vase with internal ribbing cased in clear glass, featuring a lobed flower-form base. The collection further contains soliflore vases with tapered clear glass necks and weighted spherical bases in emerald green and light blue colours. These bases feature controlled internal air bubble inclusions, a technique known as bullicante, often associated with Murano glass production. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the pieces. The styles are consistent with British and European decorative glass from the mid-to-late 20th century.
