Description
A mid-century earthenware baluster-form vase featuring a bulbous body, flared rim, and slightly tapered foot. The exterior is finished in a textured, matte speckled glaze in tones of oatmeal and grey. The rim and interior are finished in a contrasting solid dark brown glaze. The base is moulded with the marks 609-22 and W.GERMANY under a dark brown glaze. The numbering convention is consistent with production from the Scheurich factory, where 609 denotes the shape and 22 denotes the height in centimetres.
