Description
A pair of original works on paper by the artist Vivien Walmsley, executed in watercolour with gouache highlights. The compositions depict garden settings in a soft-focus, impressionistic style. The first work features a white garden bench positioned amongst white and pink blossoms, set against the backdrop of a blue door and wrought iron railings. The second work illustrates a pair of white bistro chairs and a fringed hammock suspended beneath a floral canopy. Both works are signed V. Walmsley in the lower right corner. The pieces are housed in matching gilt-edged frames with wide, textured cream mounts.
