Description
This item is a colour print on paper after the original Renaissance painting by Raphael, titled ‘Madonna of the Pinks’ (Madonna dei Garofani). The composition features the Madonna in a grey dress with gold-toned sleeves holding a seated infant, with both figures holding small flowers. A window in the background reveals a landscape with a distant castle under a blue sky.
