Description
A contemporary decorative metal advertising sign for the international salon brand Contesta Rock Hair. The sign is constructed from pressed tinplate with rolled edges and four pre-drilled corner holes for mounting. The visual composition features a central orange circular field containing a portrait of a man with a moustache and dark glasses, framed by ornate baroque-style flourishes. To the right are illustrations of barbering tools including a straight razor, a comb, and shears. The text includes CONTESTA ROCK HAIR with a small yellow NEW bubble, and BARBER SHOP in stylised fonts. A manufacturer mark featuring the intertwined letters DM is located in the upper right corner, associated with artist Davide Martini. The sign is finished with printed graphic effects designed to simulate an aged, vintage appearance, including faux-distressed edges and simulated rust spots.
