Description
An official British Phonographic Industry (BPI) Platinum sales award presented to Colin Martin. The award commemorates the sale of more than 600,000 copies in the United Kingdom of the album Who Killed…… The Zutons by the British band The Zutons. The display is mounted against a dark charcoal-coloured mat and includes two compact discs with printed labels, the original album cover art booklet, and two yellow printed plaques. The left plaque features the album title with a stylized lightning bolt Z. The right presentation plaque displays the BPI logo and the inscription: CERTIFIED SALES AWARD PRESENTED TO COLIN MARTIN TO RECOGNISE SALES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OF MORE THAN 600,000 COPIES OF THE THE ZUTONS WHO KILLED THE ZUTONS ? 2006. The assembly is housed in a wide, stepped wooden frame with a metallic gold-toned finish and glazing.
