Description
A pair of one-piece bedside cabinets constructed in a tropical conservatory style, dating to the late 20th century. Each unit features a bamboo frame with rounded, protruding front corners and inset woven wicker panels finished in a slate grey colour. The configuration consists of a single upper drawer over an open storage cubby with a fixed lower shelf. The drawer fronts are faced with grey wicker and fitted with a single horizontal bamboo-style pull handle. The side panels and top surfaces are similarly inset with grey wicker. The base of each cabinet is decorated with an open-weave wicker latticework apron. The interiors of the drawers are constructed from wood-effect composite material. No maker’s marks or labels are present.
