Description
A 20th-century Chinese blanket chest of rectangular form, constructed with a rosewood exterior and a camphor wood interior. The hinged lid and front face feature recessed panel detailing. The interior is lined with natural, unfinished camphor wood and includes a single sliding lift-out tray. The chest is secured with a decorative brass ruyi-shaped latch and is raised on a conforming plinth base with bracket feet.
