Description
A modern farmhouse style blanket chest or toy box constructed from solid knotted pine. The rectangular carcass features a bevelled edge lift-top lid, secured with modern metal concealed hinges and a metal lid stay, opening to reveal a deep storage compartment. The front elevation is designed to simulate a chest of drawers, featuring two fixed upper panels and a single functional lower drawer. The drawer is assembled with simple joints and fitted with two white ceramic bun knobs, matching the two knobs on the fixed upper section. The piece is supported by a shaped plinth base.
