Description
A pair of armchairs designed in the Mid-Century Modern style, dating from the mid-20th century. Each chair features a continuous moulded shell forming the backrest and integral armrests, upholstered in black vinyl. The seats consist of separate, fitted padded cushions in matching material. The upholstered shells are mounted onto hardwood frames, likely teak, characterised by square-section tapered legs and straight side stretchers. The construction displays visible straight-grain joinery. No maker marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces or the wooden frames. The design reflects the Danish modern aesthetic common in British furniture production during the 1960s and 1970s.
