Description
A late Victorian octagonal centre table constructed with a walnut-veneered top featuring a reeded edge. The base comprises four ring-turned and fluted supports, each ending in a splayed foot fitted with small castors. The legs are joined by an architectural X-frame stretcher featuring a spindle gallery and a central turned finial. This item is consistent with British furniture production from the late 19th century.
