Description
A British mid-century modern six-drawer tallboy chest, attributed to Meredew, dating from circa 1960s to 1970s. The piece is constructed with figured walnut or teak veneers, finished in a distinctive high-gloss polyester coating. The vertical, space-saving design comprises six drawers of equal depth, each fitted with two angled metal pull handles in a chevron or boomerang shape with a polished chrome-effect finish. The chest features clean, minimalist lines characteristic of the period and is part of a modular bedroom suite.
