Description
A mid-century modern teak highboard manufactured by E. Gomme as part of the G-Plan range. The unit is constructed with teak veneers over a composite core, featuring solid teak sculpted inset pull handles and four short tapered legs. The upper section contains a single tall cupboard door to the left and a double-door cupboard to the right. The middle section consists of a wide, open-fronted display shelf. The lower section is fitted with two drawers to the left and a single drawer or cupboard to the right. The top left drawer retains its original grey felt lining and wooden cutlery dividers. An interior drawer bears the gold-embossed maker’s mark for E. Gomme G-Plan.
