Description
A vintage Casio rotating countertop watch display case, characteristic of retail point-of-sale equipment from the late 20th century. The unit features a four-sided, tapered clear plastic body housing a three-tiered internal display structure. The internal shelves are constructed from moulded plastic with rectangular recesses designed to accommodate watch display mounts or boxes. The top of the case is finished with a ribbed, light-grey plastic header featuring the Casio brand name in raised blue lettering on multiple sides. A small blue adhesive instructional label is affixed to the middle internal tier with the text PLEASE ROTATE. The unit is fitted with a metal lock mechanism at the top and is accompanied by two keys on a metal ring. This style of display was commonly utilised in high-street jewellery and electronics retailers during the 1980s.
