Description
A set of six 20th-century reproduction dining chairs in the Queen Anne style, comprising four side chairs and two carvers. The frames are constructed from hardwood with a polished mahogany-tone finish. Each chair features a yoke-shaped top rail with a central carved shell motif positioned above a shaped vase-form splat. The chairs are supported by cabriole front legs terminating in pad feet, with out-swept rear legs. The seats are upholstered in a neutral cream-coloured textured woven fabric. While similar in design to pieces by manufacturers such as Harden or Pennsylvania House, no maker’s marks are present. A temporary auction lot label numbered 0046 is attached to one chair.
