Description
An armchair of peacock form, dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The chair is constructed from woven rattan and wicker, featuring a characteristic flared barrel back with a decorative open lattice weave. The seat is detailed with a circular sunburst woven pattern, supported by an hourglass-shaped pedestal base. The perimeter of the back, seat, and base is finished with a contrasting two-tone black and natural woven binding. No maker’s marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the item.
